Roy F. Waring
2025-01-24

            Roy F. Waring, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, at the age of

73.  Born in Phillipsburg, PA, he was a son of the late Edmund L. & Eva R. (Breth) Waring.

            Roy spent his life in service to both family and community, making a lasting impact through his work and his love for those around him.

            Roy completed his education with a high school diploma before embarking on a fulfilling career as a journeyman lineman with IBEW 126 in Collegeville. Over the years, he took great pride in his work, contributing to the safety and reliability of the electrical systems that power our lives.

            Above all, Roy cherished his family. He is survived by his loving children: Teresa Waring of Phoenix, AZ, Steven Waring (Bernadette) of West Norriton, PA, William Waring of Ithica, NY, and Amanda Waring of Ithica, NY; four grandchildren; and siblings, Luther Waring (Leah) of Lewistown, Alice LeBlanc of Orange, CA, James Waring of Phillipsburg, PA and DeWayne Waring (Emily) of Allport, PA.

            In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by siblings, Ardella Lobb, Rita Overmoyer and Alfred and Edmond Waring.

            Services will be private at this time.

            Arrangements entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
