Jeanette J. “Dolly” Wieand
2025-01-20

            Jeanette J. "Dolly" Wieand, 90, of Emmaus, passed away peacefully at 

Country Meadows Allentown on Saturday, January 18, 2025. She and her late husband, Robert B. Wieand, who passed away October 15, 2024, would have celebrated 68 years of marriage this past November.

            Born at home in Pennsburg, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Glenna (Schlicher) Moll.

            Dolly attended a one room schoolhouse, Haring School, from first through eighth grade and graduated from East Greenville High School, Class of 1951. She was a member of the Emmaus Woman's Club for over 50 years, and played on the club's bowling league for many years. 

            Dolly was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Emmaus where she volunteered in various capacities including a greeter coordinator, helping with the monthly newsletter, the Altar Guild, and oversaw the church kitchen during vacation bible school. She was one of the founding members of a pinochle card club, formed over 60 years ago, with many of her good friends.

            Survivors: Three Sons, Robert M. (Lindy), Michael R. (Melissa) and Steven A. (Ray); Grandchildren, Daniel and Joseph (Ali) Wieand, Alison Moyer, Rachel Boggia and Dominic Mannello; Great-grandchildren, Skyler and Gaige Richardson, and Kalista, Cassidy and Natalie Moyer.  She was preceded in death by her Brother, Donald R. Moll; and Grandson, Daniel Richardson.

            Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2025, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus.  A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.
