The Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted its 24th Annual Golf Outing & Clambake last Thursday, September 12th at Butter Valley Golf Course in Barto.

            The weather was bright and sunny as 132 golfers started their day with a buffet lunch provided by Chino's Place, then headed to the course. The golfers were treated to various stations on the course that featured Manhattan clam chowder, a cigar station and a beer tasting provided by Samuel Adams. At the end of the day, golfers were invited to enjoy our traditional clambake dinner catered by Sodexo-Perkiomen School.

            The chamber would like to extend appreciation to Alan Kern, Sodexo-Perkiomen School, Shane Thrush and UPSD students, Steve Pestrock Photography, Celtic Spirit and the businesses that contributed to the silent auction and Spirit Pull. The Chamber also expresses appreciation for the sponsors, volunteers and participants who make this fun and exciting event successful each year.
