Agriculture is embedded in our local community and to highlight this, Milford Township held its fun-filled Ag Daze on Saturday, September 14. Last year the threat of inclement weather kept the event from happening, but this year the weather provided the right environment for the community event's success.

The organization works closely with the township to assist in projects. In May 2023, Jerry Hertz, a member of the parks and recreation board, addressed the intense workload put on the public works maintenance crew and land steward Jon Roth. The solution was to organize a volunteer community group to help with a variety of projects. By June, they had six volunteers and their project was weeding and cleaning-up of the Molasses Creek Park Armed Forces Memorial. The next project is the Molasses Creek Butterfly and Pollinator Garden and future Arboretum walking trail.
Milford T-Force is membership based. They are always looking for community members to volunteer and help with projects. They also intend to attain 501(c) status. "This will greatly expand our ability to fund growth and contributions to our

If you missed this year, definitely mark your calendars for Ag Daze 2025.
