During her remarks, Congresswoman Dean provided a summary of the American Rescue Plan and how this Bipartisan plan is built to help businesses, families, and communities, as well as local and state governments, gain resources to help improve the economy after the many challenges faced during the pandemic.
Dean also informed attendees she is working hard to make sure she identifies the problems and needs of people as well as share what resources are available to help communities grow and thrive.
She then opened the floor for questions from the attendees, which stimulated a conversation around many of the current events and topics in the news today.
This was the final event of the Legislative Affairs Series for 2024 and the UPV Chamber wishes to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Legislative Affairs Series sponsors Gillespie Electric, Inc. and PPL Electric Utilities, as well as the August meeting sponsors Artisan Display, Inc., Montgomery County Community College, Pennsylvania Army National Guard and St. Luke's Penn Foundation.
The Chamber is looking forward to another dynamic Legislative Affairs Series of meetings in 2025.
