Edward Valentino Bozzelli
2024-08-23

            Edward Valentino Bozzelli, 85, a lifelong resident of East Greenville 

passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

            He was the son of the late Frank and Pauline (Schiery) Bozzelli and was the beloved husband of Beverly (Haas) Bozzelli. They celebrated 63 years of marriage.

            He served his country honorably in the National Guard. Ed worked for Merck in animal research in West Point, PA, for 36 years. He was a lifetime member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg. He was also an avid runner, and he ran the Boston Marathon three times, the Marine Corp Marathon in Washington, DC, the Atlantic City Marathon, and many races in the area.

            He also enjoyed spending time in Wildwood Crest with his family. Later in life, found a love of golf and he was a loyal fan of the Philadelphia sports teams.

            Along with his wife, Ed is survived by his sons: Eric Bozzelli and his wife, Karen of Red Hill, and Brett Bozzelli and his wife, Vicki of Barto; his grandchildren: Ryan, Matthew, and Deanna; his great grandchildren: Olivia, Skyla, Ethan, and Cyrus; and his brother, Kenneth Bozzelli and his wife, Donna of Sellersville.

            All are invited to gather with his family from 10 – 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27th with a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m., in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church 1325 Klinerd Road Pennsburg, PA 18073. He will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in his memory to the "Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund," PO Box 96764, Washington, DC 20090-6764.
