Holly L. (Schell) Swenk
2024-08-22

            Holly L. (Schell) Swenk, 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Pottstown Nursing Center. 

            Holly was born on December 25, 1949 in East Greenville to George and Betty (Faulk) Schell. She married Dale Swenk on Christmas Eve and shared 53 years of marriage together before his passing in 2022. The Christmas season always held a special place in Holly's heart.

            Holly held various jobs over the years, eventually finding joy as a teaching assistant for the Perk Valley School District for many years before retiring.

            Holly was best known for raising and caring for the variety of animals on her property. She especially loved all of her cats, ducks and peacocks.

            Holly is survived by her son, Matthew Swenk and wife, Marie of Royersford; her beloved grandson, Ian Swenk also of Royersford; and many cousins.

            A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. You may greet the family starting at 10 a.m.

            Memorial donations can be made in Holly's name to the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Rd., Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
