Verna M. (Kemmerer) Wentz, former resident of Palm, PA, passed away peacefully at Frederick Living in Zieglerville on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the age of 103.

            Verna was the loving wife of the late John S. Wentz, with whom she shared 74 years of marriage before his passing in 2014.

            In her earlier years, Verna was active in the local women's club, was an avid bridge player, and was known as "Blue Eyes" in the Palm Brownie Troop. Verna will be missed by her family and will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

            Surviving Verna are her daughter, Linda Loranger; three grandchildren (Kain Wentz, Gabrielle Vogel, and John Michael Loranger); and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Larry Wentz, two sisters and one brother.

            There will be no services at this time.
