Wayne H. Toyer
2024-08-19

            Wayne H. Toyer, 75, of Hereford, died on Aug 16, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

            Wayne was born on July 7, 1949, in Philadelphia, to the late Gordon A. and Grace R. (Hansen) Toyer Huber.

            He was a graduate of Boyertown High School.

            Wayne worked for Stiles Furniture Co., Green Lane, before enlisting into the US Army and serving in Japan for three years. After returning home he worked at Yoder's Grocery Store, also in Green Lane.

            Wayne was a loving brother who loved watching sports and keeping track of all scores.

            Wayne is survived by his sisters Gail, wife of Norman Kulp, of Auburndale, FL, and Claire, wife of Gene Wharton, Hereford; his niece Jess; his nephews Ken and Tom; and his great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Allen, husband of Jean Toyer, and Lee, husband of Joy Toyer.

            Funeral services are private with burial in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall.

            Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
