Rebecca Fries Rodenberger
2024-07-25

Rebecca Fries Rodenberger, Coopersburg, passed away July 23, 2024 in

Leghigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest after a courageous thirty-five-year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was the wife of Edward Rodenberger, with whom she celebrated 43 years of love together in April of this year.

Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Blanche (Zepp) Fries and grew up in Green Lane. She was a 1974 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School. She went on to complete her degree from Allentown Business School.

Becky was a medical records technician and worked for many years in the medical department at Graterford prison before her retirement due to her disability.

An avid Phillies fan, she always expected them to win the World Series every year. She enjoyed fishing earlier in life and loved being upstate at her parents' retirement farm, taking trips to Bald Eagle Forest and Walkers Lake.

Her real passion was animals. She spent hours on the computer searching the internet for the rarest and most interesting ones from around the world, collecting their pictures. Her love for her dogs was unmatched.

To fulfill Rebecca's wishes, there will not be a service.

Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home. East Greenville.

She asked that friends donate to the animal rescue organization of their choice in her honor.
