Sara M. Nolt
2024-07-17

            Sara M. Nolt, 57, of East Greenville, PA entered into God's eternal care on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 after a nearly two year journey with Lymphoma.

            Sara was born in Pottstown, PA to Samuel M. Nolt and Florence H. (Martin) Nolt.

            Sara was a teacher in various locations including Paraguay. She worked as a house cleaner for private homes and offices.

            Sara was a member of Indian Creek Mennonite Church where she taught children's Sunday school. She was a very active volunteer throughout her lifetime.

            Sara enjoyed sewing, baking, and spending time with her friends. She had a keen interest in children and enjoyed entertaining them.

            In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two brothers, Stephen M. Nolt & wife, Evelyn of Pennsburg, PA, Mahlon M. Nolt & wife, Louella of Pine Grove, PA; her sister, Miriam M. Zimmerman & husband, Philemon of Craig, CO; her sister-in-law, Beth Wadel & husband, Dean of Mt. Crawford, VA; her 30 nieces and nephews; and her 22 great-nieces and great-nephews.

            She was preceded in death by her brother, Jason M. Nolt.

            Viewings will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Indian Creek Mennonite Church, 637 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Franconia Mennonite Meetinghouse, 613 Harleysville Pike, Telford PA 18969.

            Burial will take place at Indian Creek Mennonite Cemetery.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Mennonite Messianic Missions, 40 Wood Corner Road, Ephrata, PA 17522.
