The Sons of the American Legion Squadron #184 host annual fundriaser

on the Perkiomen Creek

Entrants in the Duck Derby watch from a bridge as the ducks float down the Perkiomen Creek

in the first of several duck races.  The Sons of the American Legion Squadron #184 at Amer-

ican Legion Post 184 in East Greenville sponsored the event at the Post's home, next to the

creek, on Saturday, July 13.

Numbered ducks await their selection to be used

in a race.

Bob Wink starts the first adult duck race by dumping 140 rubber ducks in to the Perkiomen Creek.
Jack Seasholtz uses a net to scoop up ducks that were not collected at the finish line. Winners of the first children's duck race include Brinley Holzer, Kai Ketterer, August Miller, and Sophia Miller.
