Helen I. (Conrad) Zimmerman
2024-06-25

            Helen I. (Conrad) Zimmerman, formerly of Boyertown, passed 

away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, June 24, 2024.  She was the widow of the late Lloyd C. "Joe" Zimmerman Sr., sharing 71 years of marriage together. 

            Helen was born July 26, 1933 in Lobachsville to the late Mary E. (Meyers) and Leroy J. Conrad.

            Helen worked for many years in the production line of Philco Ford, Lansdale, PA.

            Surviving are son, Lloyd Jr. and wife Elizabeth, of Boyertown, PA; grandchildren: Jessica Zimmerman, of Philadelphia, PA; Rachael Zimmerman and Joseph Zimmerman, both of Texas; Melissa Yashura, of Mont Clare, PA; Lynn Herb, of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Russell Zimmerman; and grandson: P.F.C. Travis C. Zimmerman.

            A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with a burial following in Fairview Cemetery in Northampton, PA. All are welcome to visit with the family from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the P.F.C. Travis C. Zimmerman Bear Fund, c/o Zuber Realty, 201 E. Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512 ATTN: Connie Dolansky.
