Kyle W. Gaither, 65, of Macungie, passed away on Thursday, June 6,

2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the loving husband of Deborah A. (Heckler) Gaither with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William and Irene (Ginther) Gaither.

Kyle was a graduate of Southern Lehigh High School and started his career with the Steel Workers Union while working for JG Furniture. He then was employed as a school bus driver for the Upper Perk School District and eventually retired from Fabric Development in Quakertown.

He was a member of many gun clubs but was active and a lifetime member of the Beethoven Waldheim Sportsman Association and the Spring Valley Sportsman Association. He also served as President of the Hereford Gun Club for a few years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and held membership at the Zionsville Community Fish and Game. He also enjoyed golfing and in earlier years coaching for his son's youth baseball team.

In addition to his wife, he will be deeply missed by his daughter, Ashlee Birdsall and husband, Ike; his son, Aaron Gaither; two beloved grandchildren, Cameron and Isaac Birdsall; and three nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Paul Danner.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. You may greet the family starting at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Lupus Foundation of America at www.give.lupusresearch.org or to the Spring Valley Sportsman Club at SVSC - 1262 Spring Valley Road, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
