Darlene L. Reck
2024-06-04

            Darlene L. Reck, 80, of East Greenville, passed away Sunday, June 2, 

2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Michael J. Reck, Sr. They celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary in March 2024.

            Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Glass and Annabelle (Zettlemoyer) Ackerman.

            Darlene worked at Allen Organ Company for 48 years before retiring as a Management Supervisor.

            Darlene was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pennsburg. She was very active and loved working at the Open Link Senior Center of East Greenville, assisting with senior services. Mrs. Reck was a Montgomery County election poll worker for many years. Darlene loved spending time with all of her family.

            Survivors: Husband, Michael; Daughter: Dana L. Miller and her husband Mark of Meridian, MS; Daughter-in-Law: Kathy Jabs and her husband Scott of Barto; Stepson: Scott Reck and his wife Crystal of Vail, AZ; Brother: Dennis Glass and his wife Kathleen of Lenhartsville; Grandchildren: 8; Great-grandchildren: 4. Darlene was predeceased by her brother Raymond Glass and by her stepson Michael J. Reck, Jr.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2024, at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown 18106 with a visitation from 3-4 p.m. Monday. www.stephensfuneral.com.
