Dale R. Miller
2024-05-25

            Dale R. Miller, 74, of Pennsburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 

2024 at St. Luke's Bethlehem Campus after a sudden illness.

            He was born in Quakertown to the late Henry R. Sr. and Margaret (Stull) Miller.

            Dale served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

            He worked at the parts counters at Weldon Auto Parts in Lansdale, Quakertown Auto Parts and Pennsburg Auto Parts.  Lastly, he worked in production for Boise-Cascade in East Greenville before retiring.

            He was a member of Pennsburg U.C.C., Red Hill VFW Post 5954, President of American Legion Post 184 in East Greenville, Charter Member of the American Legion Riders Chapter 184, Bally Fire Co., and Alburtis Rod and Gun Club.

            He is survived by his sister, Gloria Leskowsky, Emmaus; niece and nephews: David W. Berg of Catasauqua; Terry L. Berg and wife Sandy of Allentown; Dana L. Berg and wife Shelley of Schnecksville; Susan L. Miller of Emmaus; and Andrew J. Berg and wife Shawn, of Macungie.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry R. Miller Jr.

            A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with a service to follow at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Old Zionsville, PA.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 184, 744 Gravel Pike, East Greenville, PA 18041 or VFW Post 5954, 401 Main St. Red Hill, PA 18076.
