Margaret Ann (Schultz) Casey, 84, of Naperville, IL sought eternal
comfort with our Lord on April 13, 2024. Her daughter, Anita Pinc; her sister, Gladys Schultz; her parents, Philip R. Schultz and Ada P. (Gehman) Schultz and various other relatives were waiting with open arms to welcome her home. What a joyous reunion that must have been.
She is survived by her spouse, Edward Casey; children, Steve Casey, Sharon Schlenker (Jon); grandchildren, Sasha Pinc, Gabrielle Pine (Hans), Zachary Pinc, Isabelle Pinc, Sabrina Schlenker, Katrina Schlenker; siblings, Joanna Weiser (Rocky), Ken Schultz (Pat), Lenoir Lahr (Roger), Alma Buffkin (Tony), Ret. Col. Carolyn Kleiner (Ret. Col. Martin), along with numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly.
Margaret was born January 8, 1940, in East Greenville, PA, graduated in 1957 as salutatorian of Upper Perkiomen High School in Academic Course Studies, received a B.S. of Education degree from Kutztown State University in 1961, a Masters of Education from Temple University in 1965, and attended University of Colorado pursuing further education. Margaret met the love of her life, Edward (Bob) Casey, through mutual friends. They were married June 20, 1964. They eventually moved to Naperville, IL where they raised their three children.
Margaret started her teaching career in Boyertown, PA, teaching 5th and 6th grades at New Hanover Elementary School. It was always her goal to instill a love of reading in her students. Margaret taught a total of 24 years, the majority of the time she taught 6th grade Reading in district 204 schools in Naperville, IL, mainly Hill and Gregory Middle Schools.
She loved being surrounded by family, friends, and neighbors. Margaret was the piano accompanist for a quartet that aired on a radio station WBYO in Boyertown, PA. Margaret was a choir director at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church in Boyertown PA. In Illinois, she was involved in countless mission trips abroad with her Naperville Calvary Church home. Margaret was a friend to many and lent a listening ear to many people. She was a loving, kind, sweet and humorous individual who loved the Lord dearly. She taught her children and others the loving principles of the Bible and Christian living. She was a great example to all to love your neighbor as yourself.
A private family visitation will be held for Margaret at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory 516 S. Washington St. Naperville, IL 60540.
