St. Luke’s Named Top Workplace
2024-04-03

St. Luke's University Health Network has been named the Top Workplace in the large employer category by the Morning Call. This is the second year in a row that St. Luke's has been recognized as a Top Workplace.

In addition, St. Luke's has been named a Top Workplace nationally, in the Philadelphia region and in New Jersey. St. Luke's is the only healthcare institution in Pennsylvania and the third-highest-ranked healthcare entity in the nation to be designated a Top Workplace in 2024.

Richard A. Anderson, President and CEO of St. Luke's, also received the 2024 Top Workplace Leadership Award from The Morning Call based on the feedback from St. Luke's employees.

Evan Ochs, Senior Vice President, Human Resources for St. Luke's, accepted the awards and stated the following during her acceptance speech: "I have the privilege of accepting this award, but I am only one of 20,000 reasons we are receiving this award.  This award is a result of, and for, our employees… all 20,000 strong and growing.  Our people, all 20,000, have that 'secret sauce' that our CEO, Richard Anderson, always references.  It's what I see every single day from our employees.  It's that secret sauce of devotion to what they do, loyalty, caring and compassionate behaviors, no matter what role they fill on the team."

The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a confidential third-party survey administered by Energage LLC, an employee engagement technology company. The survey measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection.

Of 42,000 organizations nationally that participated, St. Luke's ranked 47th. On average, less than three percent of eligible organizations earn a Top Workplaces designation.

"We are thrilled to announce the publication of the Top Workplaces USA award winners in collaboration with USA TODAY," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "This award showcases the nation's outstanding organizations and underscores the importance of prioritizing the employee experience in today's workplace landscape. We congratulate all the winners on this remarkable achievement."
