Grace M. Long
2024-03-22

            Grace M. Long, 89, of Red Hill passed away peacefully with her family by

her side on Thursday, March 21, 2024. She was the widow of Richard Long.

            Born in East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Irene (Gehris) Schwenk.

            She was part of the last graduating class of East Greenville High School in 1952. Grace worked as a polisher at the former Plummer in East Greenville, the Corner House and at Harleysville Insurance.

            She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Pennsburg.

            She is survived by her daughters: Sharon Schuler of East Greenville, Beth, wife of Rob Jenkins of Palm, and Sheila, wife of Ed Kraus of Pennsburg; grandchildren: Keith, Bryan, Eric, Amanda, Robbie, Dan, Valerie, and Carly; great grandchildren: Ashley, Brandon, Carson, Brantley, Sophie, Aiden, Elyjah, Christian, Delaney, Gabriel, Olivia, and Henry; sisters-in-law Mary Ann and Betty, her sister: Barbara, and her husband Michael Bartholomew. She was predeceased by her son: Dean Long; her great grandchildren, Blake and Kamryn; and her brothers, David and Frederick Schwenk.

            All are invited to a viewing from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27th at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg PA 18073 with her service to follow at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Richard in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg.

            Donations can be made to the Upper Perkiomen Ambulance Association, 2199 E Buck Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073.
