Charlene G. Wilson
2024-02-27

            Charlene Ginger Wilson, 70, of East Greenville, passed away peacefully

on Sunday, February 25, 2024.

            Born in Allentown, she was the beloved daughter of the late Lena E. (Kriebel) Wilson.

            Charlene was a 1971 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School. She graduated from the Allentown School of Nursing in 1974, and she received her BSN from Kutztown University in 1988.

            Charlene worked as a nurse at Lehigh Valley Hospital from 1974-2006, and at Pennsburg Manor from 2006-2018. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pennsburg and was a member of the East Greenville Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary.

            Charlene enjoyed traveling. With her mother, they traveled to all 50 states and several foreign countries. She was an avid fan of Penn State, the Phillies, and the Eagles. She enjoyed going to craft fairs and she always remembered everyone's birthday.

            Surviving are friends: Rob & Casey McHugh and Kerry Strzelecki and several cousins.

            A viewing will be on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Palm Schwenkfelder Cemetery.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
