Bruce R. Wahl
2024-02-07

            Bruce R. Wahl, 75, of Pennsburg, passed away on Monday, January 29, 

2024 at Grand View Hospital.

            He was born in Allentown to the late Carl M. and Dorothy G. (Walter) Wahl.

            After graduating from Upper Perk High School in 1966, Bruce furthered his education at Northwest Missouri State University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in 1976 in Science and Secondary Education.

            Bruce spent 22 years teaching math at the School of the Osage in Lake Ozark, MO along with coaching the school basketball, football, baseball and track teams. After moving back to Pennsylvania, he worked as a math tutor for Boyertown Jr. High East for eight years before retiring in 2011.

            Bruce was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC in East Greenville along with the Harleysville, Souderton, Pottstown and Norristown Senior Centers.

            He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was also a member of the American Legion Post #184 in Palm.

            He is survived by his sister, Linda Sheaffer, widow of Darcy of The Villages, FL; and many cousins and friends.

            Bruce will be laid to rest privately at the Trinity Great Swamp Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
