Dorothy E. Sivco
2024-01-22

            Dorothy E. Sivco, affectionately known as "Dot", 89, formerly of Hereford,

passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2024 at LifeQuest in Quakertown. She was the loving wife of the late Michael A. Sivco with whom she shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2005.

            Born in Bechtelsville, PA she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Hannah (Lesher) Marks, Sr.

            Dorothy worked various jobs in the area before dedicating her life to raising her children. Her family was the center of her life and she cherished all the time spent with them. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church and the Hereford Fire Co.

            Surviving are three children, Timothy Sivco of Macungie, Todd Sivco Sr. of Hereford, and Jeffrey Sivco of Macungie; five grandchildren, Pamela, Jesse, Todd, Blake, and Justin; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, LeRoy Marks Jr. and wife, Marlene, son-in-law, Michael Gamboa; sisters-in-laws, Linda Marks and Verona Rodenberger and husband, Thomas; and brother-in-law, Jake Youse.  She is predeceased by two daughters, Diane and Donna Sivco; sisters, Marie Adam and Betty Youse; and a brother, Charles Marks, Sr.

            A Mass will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine St., Bally. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Calling hours - 11 to 11:45 a.m. in the church.

            Arrangements, Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
