Robert E. Hale
2024-01-11

            Robert E. Hale, 61, of East Greenville, passed away peacefully on

Wednesday, January 10, 2024 after a battle with esophageal cancer.

            Born in Abington, he was the beloved son of Maryann (D'Angelo) Hale of Hereford and the late William C. Hale.

            Bob was a 1980 graduate of North Penn High School and was currently employed with Greene Tweed as a machinist. He was a sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Eagles and participating in fantasy football leagues. Before he got sick, he enjoyed time spent out on the golf course and fishing. Above all of this, he loved spending time with his children, Nicholas and Leah Hale.

            In addition to his mother and two children, he is survived by a brother, Michael Hale; sister, Kimberly Hale and wife, Tara Brophy; sister-in-law, Theresa Hale; former wife, Debra (Bucci) Hale; his beloved nieces and nephews; and cat, Amber.

            A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Family and friends may visit with the family beginning at 9 a.m.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Fox Chase Cancer Center, Office of Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111 or online at www.foxchase.org.

            Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home and online condolences may be offered at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
