Barbara Ann Landis, 75, of East Greenville, passed away Monday,
January 1, 2024 at her home. She was the companion of Barry W. Gardner, sharing 24 years together.
Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Dorothy (Schnure) Landis.
Barbara was employed at Delbar Co. in Perkasie for 30 years and then later she worked as a hostess and waitress at the Carriage House.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sellersville where she taught Sunday School. Her happy place was at the beach or anywhere near the ocean. Her most important role that she had in her life was raising her children and being a grandmother. She was loving, encouraging, supportive and would do anything for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished all time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she made each one them feel like they were her favorite.
She was compassionate and loving to all who crossed her path. It did not matter whether it was her own family or someone in the community, she showed love and cared for everyone. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to Barry, she is survived by her two children, Chris Krikory and Tracie Rutherford; three grandchildren, Chris Wanner, Nicholas Klotz and Hope Krikory; and three great-grandchildren, Aubree Gingrich and Bradley and Zachary Wanner.
She is predeceased by a son, Joseph Krikory Jr.; and two grandchildren, Janine Shaefer and Wiliam Gingrich.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Quakertown Union Cemetery, on Cemetery Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951.
Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
