The Upper Perkiomen Business and Professional Women's Club has chosen Mia Schneider as its December girl of the month. She is a senior at the Upper Perkiomen High School and the daughter of Kristin and Howard Schneider, of East Greenville.

Schneider has maintained an academic grade point average of 4.05 and has been actively involved in school sports and activities at the high school. She has been in the National Honor Society for her junior and senior years.
Schneider has been playing on the field hockey team for four years and was the captain of the team this year. She has also been playing lacrosse for her four high school years.
For three of her high school years, Schneider has been an active member of the student council and a member of the Perk Pals. For two years, she has been in the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) and been on the Powder Puff Football team. In her junior year, she has helped with the Mini-THON and has been a member of the Link Crew.
Outside of her school activities, Schneider has had a part-time job at Camp Trinity in Green Lane as a camp counselor in the summer.
Schneider hopes to pursue a career in biology. She plans to attend Ursinus College in the fall of 2024. She will also be playing on the lacrosse team at the school.
