Mary Jane (Alexander) Boeshore

            Mary Jane (Alexander) Boeshore was born July 14, 1935 in Royersford

to her parents: father, Sebastiano D' Allesandro (Alexander) and mother, Edith Longhi.

            Mary graduated from Royersford High School in 1953 where she played field hockey and basketball.

            Mary had three children: Debra L. DeLong, A. Scott DeLong, and David C. DeLong with her first husband Arthur J. DeLong. Mary married LTC David A. Boeshore on June 20, 1970 and lived in Sciota, PA until 1987.

            In 1987, David and Mary moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C. and lived there until 1997. In 1997 David and Mary returned to Pennsylvania, living in Fleetwood for the remainder of their lives. Mary enjoyed their dog Daisy while living in Sciota, liked to make pizzelles for family gatherings, and being an active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Fleetwood.

            Mary had four siblings: Joseph, Carmella, and Rose, and is survived by brother Louis Alexander. Mary had two grandchildren: Dr. Carrie Breyer and Darrin DeLong. Mary also had four great grandchildren: Gabriel Camargo, Alessandra Gordils, Austin and Penelope DeLong.

            A viewing was held on Saturday, November 25th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 5 West Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.

            In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VFW at heroes.vfw.org. Online condolences can be made at www.MaeStumpFuneralHome.com.
