Anna M. Stauffer
2023-10-24

Our dear mother, Anna (Ann) M. Stauffer, 90, was called home to our Lord

on Sunday, October 22. She was the loving wife of the late Henry "Hank" S. Stauffer, who was called home to the Lord in 2007. They were married for 52 years and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their children and grandchildren at one of their favorite places, the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont.

She was an avid gardener, homemaker, cook, baker and quilter. On bright sunny afternoons, you could find her riding her bike on the Perkiomen Trail. She enjoyed traveling abroad, spending her time at the beach and later annually in Vermont, as she cross-country skied and ice skated up until she was 87.

She volunteered for 30+ years at Care and Share in Souderton. She was a long-time member of West Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown where she enjoyed her fellowship in the Quilting and Knotting Group. Ann and her husband volunteered for various community outreach programs including the MCC Annual Meat Canning Project. She enjoyed learning about and preserving history, classical music, plays and concerts.

Ann was born on a dairy farm in Hatfield to the late Clayton C. and Lillie (Hagey) Moyer and was the youngest of her siblings, all of whom predeceased her: Clarence Moyer, Stella Nast, Marcus Moyer, Ella Landis, Allen Moyer and Sarah Landes. She is the devoted mother of H. Brook and his wife Marlene of Barto, Holly Krueger of Coopersburg and her late husband Martin, Heather Tornetta and her husband Mark of Macungie, Grant and his wife Lisa of Palmerton and the Late Tina Iobst and her husband Dave of Allentown.

She was the supportive grandmother of Tyson Cleverly of Jacksonville, NC, Shawne (Tornetta) Simon and her husband Lance of Barto, Kelsey (Cleverly) Brucker and her husband Kyle of Perkasie, Jordan (Stauffer) Harper and her husband Mario of Austin, TX, Jarrett Tornetta of Macungie, Haley Stauffer of Miami, FL, Corrinn (Stauffer) Johnson and her husband Robert of Palmerton, Serena Stauffer and Jocelyn Stauffer, both of Palmerton. She delighted in the company of her great grandchildren: Colton, Maisyn, Poppy, Morgan and Caius.

All are invited to a memorial service to celebrate her life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 28th at West Swamp Mennonite Church, 2501 Allentown Rd, Quakertown PA 18951. She will be laid to rest privately.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution in her memory can be made to her church at the address above.

Visit her "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
