Michael C. Duka
2023-10-05

            Michael C. Duka, 65, of Pennsburg, passed away on September 8, 2023 at

his home.  Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Michael and Jeanette (Bartman) Duka.

            He was a 1976 graduate of Upper Perk High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Lock Haven University. He was employed at Avery Dennison in Quakertown as the inventory manager for many years. Prior, he worked at Knoll, Inc. as a programmer.

            Michael was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and loved to garden; but above all, his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved being a pop-pop to his granddaughter, Aurora.

            Surviving are a son, Todd M. Duka; granddaughter, Aurora Jeanette Duka; sister, Teresa DeBias and husband, Dennis; brother, Matthew Duka and wife, Jennifer; nieces, Kristin, Rachel and Shae; and nephews, David, Boris and Malachi. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Christina Duka and a nephew, Ezra.

            A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at St. Philip Neri Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073. A visitation will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

            Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Vets for Vets at P.O. Box 351, Telford, PA 18969.
