The Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted their 23rd Annual Golf Outing & Clambake last Thursday, September 21 at Macoby Run Golf Course, Inc. in Green Lane.
The weather was perfect as 128 golfers fueled up for the day with a buffet lunch provided by The Valley Cafe, then hit the course for the usual round of a golf. The course featured various stations for food and beverages. Specialty food stations included Manhattan clam chowder, cigar station and a beer tasting provided by Samuel Adams. At the end of the day, golfers were treated to the traditional clambake dinner catered by Sodexo-Perkiomen School.
The Chamber also extends their gratitude to Alan Kern, Sodexo - Perkiomen School, Shane Thrush and UPSD students, Steve Pestrock Photography, Celtic Spirit, Country Creek Winery, Boyd's Cardinal Hollow Winery and the businesses that contributed to the silent auction and Spirit Pull. The Chamber also has an abundance of appreciation for the sponsors, volunteers and participants who make this fun and exciting event successful each year.
Next month, the Chamber will host Designer Bag Bingo at beautiful Green Lane Park on Sunday, October 15 from 1-4pm (tables open 12pm). For more information on Bingo & Bubbly, visit bit.ly/designerbagbingo2023 or contact the Chamber office at 215.679.3336.
