With the campaign season in full swing it is time to remind candidates, supporters and advertisers of the publishing rules and laws that we must adhere to

            The Town and Country newspaper policy is to publish paid, display advertisements promoting or opposing a candidate(s) or ballot question(s) for an upcoming primary or general election (beginning two-months before the election date).  General Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023.

            Pennsylvania law requires that all political and election related ads must be paid for before publication and the ad must clearly state who financed the advertisement.
