Louella M. (Moyer) Gehringer
2023-08-09

            Louella M. (Moyer) Gehringer, 78, of Green Lane, PA, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at home.

            Born in Souderton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arden and Helen (Goettler) Moyer.

            Louella was a graduate of Souderton High School where she was involved in softball, basketball, field hockey and swimming. After attending college, she eventually became a Supervisor for Greene Tweed in Kulpsville, PA for over 25 years before retiring.

            She was an active and faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Souderton and in her earlier years, she was a volunteer with Souderton Ambulance for 15 years. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed her time spent with the Earl Bowl League and was also a PIAA Field Hockey Referee.  Louella loved the beach, especially Long Beach Island, NJ, traveling with her best friend, Shirley Moyer, and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan.

            Surviving are her two children, Phillip Gehringer, Jr., and Rebecca Kollar and husband, Christopher; five grandchildren, Kayla, Riley, Sydney, Chase and Casey; her great-granddaughter, Paisely Mae; siblings, Vickie Gehman and husband, Dan and Scott Moyer and wife, Sarah; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by siblings, Doug Moyer, Brooke Moyer, Neal Moyer and Pam Valenti.

            A service will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Souderton on a later date.

            Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA. You may offer condolences by visiting www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 69 W Broad St, Souderton, PA 18964.
