Nancy Lee Edwards
2023-08-06

            Nancy Lee Edwards, 73, of Hereford passed away peacefully on Friday,

August 4th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late John F. Edwards.

            Born in Morristown, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Ethel (Lanterman) Ubertaccio.

            Nancy graduated from Court Reporting School and then went to work for the Picatinny Arsenal, then in Civilian Personnel in Dover, NJ, then she worked as a clerk for General Dynamics in Groton, CT, and then O'Brien, Shafner & Garvey in Groton, CT, as a Legal Secretary. She retired from Brown Printing in East Greenville, PA where she worked in the mail room.

            Nancy enjoyed making blankets for the children's cancer unit, reading and baking.

            She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Andre, and her husband Robert of Kutztown; her grandchildren: Gage Andre and Robert McCafferty-Andre; her siblings: Pete Ubertaccio and his wife Barbara of Charlotte, NC, George Ubertaccio and his wife LuAnne, of Chatham, NJ, Richard Ubertaccio of Jacksonville, FL, Glenn Ubertaccio and his wife Lori, of Budd Lake, NJ, and Michael Ubertaccio and his wife Denise, of Morristown, NJ, Carol Ubertaccio and her husband Robert Hathaway of Mooresville, NC, and Ginger Hopler and her husband, Robert of Rockaway, NJ; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Sean.

            All are invited to gather at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073 from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday, August 11. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Bally. She will be laid to rest in the church graveyard.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in her memory to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1615 L St NW #430, Washington, DC 20036.
