Gavin Weiss earned the mound win in relief for the Indians (2-9). Gehman's grounder snapped a 5-5 tie.
Gehman scored two runs for Post 184 which scored three runs in the bottom of the second inning on two hits to go ahead 3-1.
The visiting Hawks responded with four runs on three hits in the top of the third inning to go ahead 5-3. However, Perkiomen utilized two runs on two hits in the bottom of the inning to force a 5-5 tie. Gehman and Sammy Zematis both scored during the rally.
Nor-Gwyn didn't score the rest of the way. It managed four hits over the final four innings, stranding runners on base in the fourth and fifth frames.
Each team finished with 10 hits.
Post 184 tagged out Trevor Lugara, the Nor-Gwyn first baseman, who tried to steal home plate in the third inning.
While Post 184 did not make the playoffs this year, there was some positive feedback from the coach and the players about the season.
"My favorite part of the season was working with the guys every day," Manager Mike Fitzgerald said, "These guys are a fun group to be with."
"This was a good season," Jake Creneti, Post 184's catcher said., "There were a few errors in a few games, but overall, the season was good."
The Indians are looking for a better season next year.
