The Upper Perk Kiwanis Youth Legion team slipped up in the Berks County League playoffs Tuesday. Now the team must post four consecutive wins to defend its title.
The Braves were defeated 10-8 by Daniel Boone in a second-round playoff game at Bonekemper Field. They committed four errors that lead to three unearned runs.

Upper Perk opened the league playoffs with a dominant victory over the Boyertown Bear Cubs on Monday as Cole Pierce pitched the team to an 8-1 victory at Bonekemper Field.
In six innings, Pierce did not allow an earned run. He scattered three hits and issued four walks while striking out eight.
Benjamin Godshall went 2-for-2 at the plate and scored two runs for the Braves, who led 8-0 through five innings. Jackson Long and Sink each singled twice and scored a run.
