Born in Shelly, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Forrest E. Reiter Sr, and the late Vivian (Sacks) Reiter.

Forrest was a label maker for the former Boise Cascade Co, East Greenville for over 30 years until the plant closed. He enjoyed betting on horses, playing cards, crossword puzzles, and walking his dogs, especially the late Charlie and Sadie.

Surviving are daughters, Lisa, wife of John Erdman of Green Lane, and Lori, wife of James Rogers of Perkiomenville; a son, Forrest III of Florida; grandchildren: Susan, Stacie, John, Anthony, Nicole, Amanda, Phillip, James and Alyssa, Deanna, and Tawny; seventeen great grandchildren; and a sister, Sally Shepherd, of Angola, Indiana. He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard and Freddy.

All are invited to a viewing from 10 – 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 20th with a service at 11 a.m. at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg. He will be laid to rest in St. Mark's Cemetery in Pennsburg immediately following the service.

The family would like to especially thank Forrest's granddaughter, Stacie, and his niece Joann for their loving care and visits.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in his memory to Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
