Shirley Ann Long, 86, of Red Hill was called Home on Sunday, July 9, 2023.

            Born in Trumbauersville, she was a daughter of the late Amandus and Glenna (Gehris) Frank.

            Shirley was an inspector for the former Plummer Precision Optics Company, Pennsburg for 29 years before retiring.

            She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, East Greenville and the Golden Agers, Pennsburg.

            She enjoyed day trips with Perkiomen Tours, Bingo, and Country Music.

            Surviving are children: Peggy Bender of Red Hill, Louann, wife of Ronald Baurys, of Palm, Melissa Long, of Pennsburg, and Harold Long, of Boyertown; grandchildren: Bren, Stacy, Jennifer, Connor, & Nikolas; great-grandchildren: Asia & Malachi; siblings: Robert Frank, of Pennsburg, Donald Frank, of Green Lane, Emily, wife of Douglas Brown, of Brandon, FL, Roger Frank, of Pennsburg, and Cynthia Cox, and her companion, Jeff Lynn, of Pennsburg; a sister-in-law, Karen, widow of Michael Frank; and many nieces & nephews.

            A Funeral Service will be on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 11 a.m. at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville. A viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday in the church parlor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

            In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the church.
