The Braves (11-2) rallied for 11 runs in the third inning. They took advantage of four walks and posted nine hits on Saturday, June 17

Jackson Long drove home two runs with a single for the team. Jordin Dice added an RBI hit. Grayson Sabo's based loaded walk pushed across another tally during the rally.

Dice and Jonathan Lewis each finished with two hits and drove in two runs for Upper Perk, which needed just five innings and collected seven hits. Zane Saeger and Jackson Long each scored two runs and drove in two runs.

Zachary Adam worked three walks, stole three bases and scored three runs for the Braves, who will host a state regional tournament from July 21 to July 24.

The Braves tore up the base paths, finishing with eight steals. Saeger stole two bases.  "We are aggressive when it comes to stealing bases," Head Coach Rick Rossiter said. "That is our strategy."

On the mound, Lewis allowed seven hits and four runs over four innings. He also struck out two and issued one walk. Benjamin Sands threw one inning out of the bullpen to finish the game.

"Lewis pitched well today," Rossiter said. "We did not expect Southern Area to swing like they did."

Down 2-1 after one inning, the Braves took the lead for good with two runs in the bottom of the second inning. They took advantage of five walks during the frame.

The Braves managed just three hits and committed two costly errors in 4-1 loss to Perkiomen Valley on Tuesday. Pierce absorbed the mound loss, allowing eight hits and one unearned run in 6- 2/3 innings.

Saeger, Brody Weiss and Cole Pierce had the only hits for Upper Perk. Weiss drove in the team's only run in the top of the third inning to force a 1-1 tie.

However, Perkiomen Valley went ahead for good in the bottom of the second with a two-run rally. Its three pitchers combined for six strikeouts.

On Friday, June 16, the Braves dominated Hamburg. Three pitchers permitted just one hit in a 15-0 win at Bonekemper Field.

They built an early 7-0 lead and was never challenged. Benjamin Godshall, Saeger and Pierce combined for eight strikeouts. Godshall, the starter, issued one walk and permitted the only hit in three innings of work. Saeger retired the side in the fourth. Pierce struck out the side in the fifth inning.
Sabo and Weiss each finished with two hits to pace a 13-hit barrage for the Braves, who scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning. Adam drove in five runs.

Godshall and Nate Schramm each drove in two runs. Schramm, Ryan Sink and Dice each scored twice.

Upper Perk posted a 6-2 road victory over Twin Valley on Wednesday, June 14. The team relied on the solid pitching of Long, Topher Burns and Godshall. Long, the starter, permitted both runs in the fifth inning.

Burns record the final two outs of the fifth, and the initial outs of the sixth inning with strikeouts. Godshall got the final five outs to preserve the win.

Brody Weiss delivered two hits and stole two bases for the Braves, who took advantage of four Twin Valley errors to score six unearned runs. They scored single runs in the second, third and fifth innings. Three additional tallies in the sixth inning provided necessary insurance.
