Dorothy M. (Graber) Bartholomew
2023-06-13

            Dorothy M. (Graber) Bartholomew, 87, of Center Valley, PA, passed away on

Monday, June 12, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem, PA. She was the loving wife of the late Harold R. Bartholomew with whom she spent 60 years of marriage with before his passing in 2015.

            Born in Chapel (Hereford Township, Berks County), she was the daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Snyder) Graber.

            Dorothy attended East Greenville High School and worked for 17 years before retiring in 1998 from Knoll Inc. in East Greenville and 15 years from Stauffer Mfg. Co. in Red Hill.  She was a faithful member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Fellowship Bible Sunday School class for many years.

            Surviving are her two children, Renee A. Pecuch and Robin C. Bartholomew and wife, Susan; son-in-laws, Thomas Pecuch and Michael Caverly; sister, Rose Marie Kimmel; brother, Charles Graber, Jr.; and seven grandsons, Sean, Curtis, Eric, Colin, Derek, Ryan and Alan; and six great-grandchildren, Xavier, Ariana, Connor, Addison, Finn and Jaime. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl Caverly and siblings, Ruth Lesher, Marie Leister, Ruba Endy, Jean Krauss, Mary Houseknecht, Francis, Paul, Raymond, and Ralph Graber, Raymond and Ernest Conrad and a grandson, Terry Fritz.

            A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA 18041. Burial will follow in Zions Lutheran Cemetery, Old Zionsville. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11a.m. at the church.

            Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA.
