Nancy Kabakjian, 88, of Pennsburg, stepped into heaven whole and healed on
Friday, May 26th, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Edward Kabakjian.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Rose (Chapman) Bixler. Nancy was raised on a large farm in Fairless Hills, where she lived until she went to Millersville State College.
She was one semester away from graduating when she followed her hearts' calling to marry Ed and be a wife and mother. As her family grew, so did her love for each child and grandchild. She had a fun-loving and playful heart to the end. A month before her passing, she was in the back field (with her freshly colored pink hair) playing paintball with her grandchildren.
She always had pets in her life. Sheep, chickens, cats, and dogs, just to name a few. She taught her children and grandchildren to love and enjoy critters. Not to mention the hamsters, salamanders, and even a little alligator.
Nancy was a financial supporter of many ministries and a wonderful helpmate to her husband with their Christian book ministry.
Nancy is survived by children: Kimberly, wife of Mark Bergan of Pennsburg, Kenneth of Harleysville, and Kevin and his wife Brooke of Conestoga, PA; grandchildren: Wesley, Spencer and wife Rachael, Karly, Kaleb, Katie, Emily, Greg and wife Alexis, Ben, Julianna, and Daniel; great granddaughter, Lilah; sister: Patsy Wilson and her husband Robert of Palm City, FL; Cousin Janet Nielsen and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Terry, wife of Tony Mamie.
Nancy was a treasure and will be missed by her family and all who knew her.
