Charles Chester Higman Jr.
2023-06-02

            Charles Chester Higman Jr., 94, Pennsburg passed away peacefully on Sunday,

May 28th, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Lagergren) Higman.

            Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles and Gladys (Soder) Higman.

            Charles served our country honorably in the Navy, and after the service he was an engineer for the former Control Data Corp in Oaks,

            PA. Charles was a member of Friedens UCC, and he served as the Planning Commissioner for Marlborough Township for 12 years.

            He is survived by his children: David Higman and his wife, Sandy, of Florida, Cynthia, wife of Fred Caciolo, of Pennsburg, and Robert Higman and his partner, Nadine Brennan; of Macungie, grandchildren:Karissa, Corey, Craig, Kandace, Jamie, Cody, Jenna, and Anya; and 8 great-grandchildren.

            Services will be Monday, June 12, 2023, 11 a.m. at Friedens UCC, 1011 Church Rd., Green Lane, PA 18054. Family and friends are welcome to gather beginning at 10 a.m.

            Donations may be made in his memory to Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy, 1 W. Skippack Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473.

            Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg are in charge of arrangements.
