Nancy Greiss Brogan
2023-05-30

Nancy (Shuhler) Greiss Brogan, 77, of Macungie and formerly of Pennsburg

passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29th, 2023. She was the wife of the late Ernest Greiss who passed away in 2001 and Thomas Brogan who passed away in 2011.

Nancy was raised on the farm in Krausdale, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Virus) Shuhler.

Early in life, she was a seamstress at the former Bally Sock Factory. Nancy was a dedicated and active member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg where she volunteered in many ways. She worked at the carnivals, the church breakfasts, funeral luncheons, and wherever else she was needed.

Nancy was a wonderful mother and grandmother and an all-around nice person with an infectious laugh.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Seimes and her husband, Tony of Macungie; her beloved twin grandchildren, McKenzie and Reed Seimes; her siblings: Dr. Phyllis Shuhler and her husband, John, of Quakertown, Edward Shuhler, of East Greenville, and John Shuhler, of Washington State; and many nieces and nephews.

All are invited to gather from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Nancy requested that everyone dress casually, no black. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in her memory to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church.

Visit her "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
