Milton H. “Milt” Shuman Jr.

            Milton H. "Milt" Shuman Jr., 94, formerly of Elementary Road, Coopersburg

passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15th, 2023. He was the husband of the late Florence (Ziegler) Shuman.

            Born in Richlandtown, he was the son of the late Milton H. and Irma (Riegel) Shuman.

            Early in life, he learned the trades of stone masonry and carpentry. Later Milt worked at the former Pillsbury plant in Upper Hanover Township as a line supervisor. However, at heart he was a farmer. He owned and operated Shuman's Orchard. He retired early from Pillsbury to work on the farm.

            Milt is survived by his daughters, Victoria Paravati of Northampton, Terry Shuman-Gerspach, wife of Steve Yoder, of St. Croix, VI, Mary Johnson and her husband, Michael, of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren: Amanda Dunbar and Anthony Paravati, Jillian McMillon, Jessica Keim, and Carly Keim; five great great grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters: Minnie Young and Gladys Price.

            All are invited to gather from 10 – 11 a.m. with a celebration of his life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, stjude.org.
