Calls for Donations to Support Grants
The Upper Perkiomen Education Foundation (UPEF) is excited to announce its latest initiative to celebrate and support teachers and staff in the local community. With the school year coming to a close, UPEF is calling on parents and community members to show their appreciation for the hard work and dedication of educators by showing their appreciation to a special staff member or teacher who has made a difference this year in the life of their student by offering a small gift.
The Teacher Grants program provides funds for innovative and creative classroom projects and activities that enhance the educational experience for students. These grants can cover a wide range of projects, from technology upgrades to flexible seating and more.
To participate in the Teacher Grants program, community members are encouraged to donate a gift in honor of a teacher or staff member who has made a difference in their lives or the lives of their children. Donations can be made on the Foundation's website or by mail to the UPSD Education Center.
"The Education Foundation is dedicated to supporting our local schools and educators," said Luanne Stauffer, President of the Foundation. "We believe that providing resources and opportunities for teachers to innovate and create enriching experiences for students is a key part of building a strong and vibrant community."
In addition to the Teacher Grants program, the Education Foundation is also seeking donors for its Senior Sign program. The Senior Sign program provides personalized signs for graduating seniors to display in their yards, celebrating their accomplishments and marking this important milestone.
Donations for the Senior Sign program can also be made by emailing edfoundation@upsd.org.
The Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the students, teachers, and staff of Upper Perkiomen schools. They are the only philanthropic organization that works directly with school leadership to align the investments of partners—private foundations, corporations and businesses, community organizations and individual donors—with the strategies that will impact the success of students attending our neighborhood public schools.
