Linda Young
2023-05-02

            Linda Young, 77, of East Greenville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on

Saturday, April 29, 2023, in the comfort of her home, with her loving husband, Donald Young, by her side.

            Linda was born in Sellersville to the late George and Ruba (Graber) Endy.

            She graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1964. In addition to being a homemaker and raising her three children, Linda worked at Philco Ford, Allen Organ, Levy School Bus Co., Brown Printing and Stauffer Glove and Safety. She was also a dedicated volunteer at Upper Perkiomen Community Thrift Shop, and enjoyed volunteering there until the day she passed.

            Linda enjoyed playing cards at the Upper Perkiomen Valley YMCA. She also loved sewing, reading, gardening, and her girls club. Most of all, she loved spending time with her five grandchildren and attending all their activities. She lived every day to the fullest and was a loving source of positivity and happiness for all her family and friends.

            In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by her children: Todd, husband of Jane Elizabeth Young; Candace Young, wife of Matias Elijovich; Jodi Young Sheehan, wife of Michael Sheehan; grandchildren: Zachary and Makena Young, Sophie and Noah Elijovich, and Ben Sheehan; sister, Eileen, wife of Vernon Gibbs; sisters-in-law: Edith, widow of Wilbur Endy; Millie, widow of Donald Endy; Faith, widow of Richard Endy; and many close family and friends.

            Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Linda's life on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at New Goshenhoppen U.C.C., 1070 Church Rd., East Greenville, PA 18041. After blessings in the church the family will hold a luncheon and social in the fellowship hall to share memories about Linda. Casual dress is encouraged.

            In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in her memory to Upper Perkiomen Community Thrift Shop, 301 4th St Pennsburg, PA 18073.
