Mabel (Hoffman) Schultz, 101, formerly of Palm, passed away on Sunday, April

30, 2023 at Frederick Living.  She was the widow of Howard M. Schultz.

            She was born in Barto, a daughter of the late Ammon B. and Addie E. (Stengel) Hoffman. 

            Mabel was employed as an assembler for C&D Batteries.  She was a member of Calvary U.C.C., Barto, PA.  Before moving to Frederick, she was a member of the Upper Perk Senior Center and was a talented cook and baker.

            She is survived by her daughters: Anita F., widow of Kirt Schwenk and Joan L. Schultz; grandchildren: Victoria, wife of Peter Hoff; David, husband of Amanda Schwenk and Lucas, husband of Michelle Schwenk; great-grandchildren: Andrew Bellesfield, Levi Derstine, Amelia and Noah Schwenk, and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her two infant sons and siblings: Verna Kleinsmith, Walter Hoffman, Stanley Hoffman, and Homer Hoffman; Russell Hoffman and Ernest Hoffman; and Edna Wagner, Chester Weller and Ralph Weller.

            A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary U.C.C., 1231 Rt. 100, Barto, PA 19504.  Calling time will be from 9-10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Christ Union Niantic Cemetery.
