Michael D. Frank
2023-03-06

            Michael D. Frank passed away on March 4, 2023 after a courageous battle with

cancer. Born in Marlborough Township, he was the son of the late Amandus and Glenna (Gehris) Frank.

            He was also the beloved husband of Karen (Shup) Frank for 53 years.

            Mike was a longtime resident of Red Hill until he and his wife moved to Boyertown.

            He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a tractor trailer driver for 40 years until his retirement.

            In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, bowling, and visiting classic car shows.

            In addition to his wife he will be dearly missed by his three children, Tracy Frank of Schwenksville, Janet Folger (the late Josh) of Emmaus, and Adam Frank (Jean) of Coatesville; three brothers, Robert, Donald, and Roger Frank; three sisters, Shirley Long, Emily Brown, and Cynthia Cox; and many nieces and nephews.

            Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA 18076. A visitation will also be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service celebrating Mike's life will follow the visitation on Friday at 11 a.m.. Interment will be private.

            In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike's name are requested to the American Cancer Society: https://donate.cancer.org/ or to the Veterans Brotherhood in Pennsburg:  https://veteransbrotherhood.vet/.
