Theresa Ann Cassarella
2023-03-01

            Theresa Ann (Puhak) Cassarella, 83, of Perkiomenville and formerly of

Pottstown passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Cassarella who died in 2015.

            Born in Hazleton, and raised in Milnesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Zubatch) Puhak.

            After raising her children, she worked as a secretary for the former St. Pius X High School in Pottstown. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg.

            She is survived by her sons, Joseph Mark Cassarella and wife Cynthia of Valrico, FL, Gregory John Cassarella and his wife Kelli of Friendsville, TN, and David Matthew Cassarella of Barto, PA; her daughter: Lise and husband Christopher Leonard of Ambler, PA; and her grandchildren: Anthony "AJ", Alyssa, Ashley (wife of Jason Stout), Casey John, Zachary, and her great grandson: Niall.

            All are invited to a viewing from 10:30–11:45 a.m. on Friday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 p.m.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073.
