Shirley M. Clauser
2023-01-03

            Shirley M. Clauser, 79, of Green Lane, formerly of Macungie, died Jan. 1,

2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. 

            Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Laudenslager) Bertsch.

            Shirley worked as an administrative secretary for General Electric, secretary for St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus, and manager of data entry for the IRS in Fogelsville, retiring in 2008.

            She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

            She was an avid Penn State Football fan, enjoyed trips to Lancaster with her cousins, trips to the cabin with Lenny, and spending time with her granddaughters. 

            Shirley is survived by her daughter, Kim A. wife of Mark Kemmerer of Green Lane; granddaughters, Jordyn and Taylor.

            A memorial service will be held on Sat., Jan. 7, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.

            Visitation from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.in the funeral home.
