Dorothy M. Douglas
2022-12-31

Dorothy M. Douglas, 95, of Palm, peacefully passed away on December 21, 2022. She was the widow of the late Henry S. Douglas.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph James and Tamsy (Maute) Sandel.

She is survived by her younger sister Elizabeth A. (Sandel) Repasch, four nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Green, John Repasch, Stephen Repasch, Deborah Emerick and their spouses in addition to two grand-nieces and nephew.

Dorothy worked as an executive secretary, and later as bookkeeper for her and her husband's businesses.

As a young woman she volunteered with the Girl Scouts as a program leader and was active in her church. During her long life Dorothy acquired several dog companions whom she dearly loved. She was also an avid gardener, homemaker and crafter.

Dorothy enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Florida, and lunching with friends. She and her husband were known for the elaborate Christmas parties they held in their home each year.

Services will be held January 7, 2023 at 10 a.m., at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St, Pennsburg PA 18073. Family and friends are welcome to visit beginning at 9 a.m.

To offer online condolences to the family, visit her "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
