Ashlyn Gatto extended the season for the Upper Perkiomen field hockey team. Her overtime goal Tuesday night lifted the team to a 2-1 victory over Bishop Shanahan in the District One Class 2A Tournament.

Abby Rodenberger also scored in a playback game at Keeny Stadium for the Indians (14-6), who rallied from a 3-2 loss at West Chester East in the quarterfinal round on Thursday, Oct. 27. Jess Traynor and Julia Traynor each notched an assist.

Four days earlier, Upper Perkiomen lost 3-2 to the Vikings, seeded No. 4. Jess Traynor scored both the team's goals in the fourth quarter with the team trailing 3-0.
Her first goal, the 50th of her career, came early in the quarter on a penalty corner. The senior added an unassisted goal with 1:31 remaining.
